I have been noticing a trend in the martial arts industry. Some martial arts school owners/instructors are now driving around big jacked up SUV/Humvee with their school logo on it.
I don’t understand what they are trying to convey to their potential students.
Last week at my martial arts school, I told my students that most traditional martial arts school in Japan require that the students to show up 5 minutes before class and stay 5 minutes after class to help clean up.
This way the tuition can be kept low and the martial arts instructor do not have to hire a janitor.

I just wanted to clarify what I am trying to convey. I am questioning if it is a good way to market a school. It is very ostentatious. And to support a car payment like this means the school owner will have to charge a lot more money than necessary.
